這一年即將結束，作為和融基金的主席，我感到無比自豪和感激。今年，我們舉辦了多場活動，包括兒童繪畫比賽和為有需要的人提供的溝通培訓計劃，這些活動都取得了顯著的成效。然而，我們深知，要真正推動一個包容的社會，我們還有很多工作要做。
香港社會中，仍然存在著許多不平等和不包容的現象。例如，殘疾人士在求職過程中面臨著重重困難，這不僅限制了他們的職業發展，也影響了他們的生活質量。這些問題提醒我們，社會的包容性還有很大的提升空間。
在這樣的背景下，我們更加堅信，推動環境、社會及管治（ESG）價值觀的重要性。ESG不僅僅是一個企業責任的標準，更是一個創造社會價值的機會。通過ESG計劃，我們可以更好地支持弱勢群體，促進社會的公平和包容。
我們需要跳出傳統的思維框架，尋找創新的籌款方式，才能更好地支持我們的使命。例如，我們可以探索與企業合作，開展更多有意義的社會責任項目，或者利用科技手段，通過線上平台進行籌款和宣傳。這些新的方式不僅可以增加我們的資金來源，還能提高公眾對我們工作的認識和支持。
展望未來，我充滿信心和希望。相信在大家的共同努力下，我們一定能夠實現更大的突破，為社會帶來更多的包容和關愛。我們的目標是讓每一個人都能夠在這個社會中找到自己的位置，過上有尊嚴和有意義的生活。讓我們攜手並肩，為建設一個更加包容和美好的社會而努力。
As the Chairperson , I feel immense pride and gratitude as this year comes to a close. This year, we hosted several events, including a children’s painting competition and communication training programs for those in need, all of which achieved significant results. However, we are acutely aware that there is still much work to be done to truly foster an inclusive society.
In Hong Kong, many inequalities and instances of exclusion persist. For example, individuals with disabilities face numerous challenges in the job market, which not only limits their professional development but also affects their quality of life. These issues remind us that there is still considerable room for improvement in societal inclusivity.
In this context, we are even more convinced of the importance of promoting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values. ESG is not just a standard for corporate responsibility; it is an opportunity to create social value. Through ESG initiatives, we can better support marginalized groups and promote fairness and inclusivity in society.
We need to think outside traditional frameworks and seek innovative fundraising methods to better support our mission. For example, we could explore partnerships with businesses to launch more meaningful social responsibility projects or utilize technology to conduct online fundraising and outreach. These new approaches can not only increase our funding sources but also raise public awareness and support for our work.
Looking ahead, I am filled with confidence and hope. I believe that with everyone’s collective efforts, we can achieve greater breakthroughs and bring more inclusivity and care to society.
Our goal is for every individual to find their place in society and live a life of dignity andmeaning. Let us join hands and work together towards building a more inclusive and beautiful society
